Community Room Location: 414 E Main St. Dewitt, MI 48820.

The Community Room is available to be reserved:

• Monday – 10 AM to 9 PM
• Tuesday through Friday – 8 AM to 9 PM
• Saturday – 10 AM to 6 PM. (One Rental Per Day)
• Sunday – Closed Sundays
• Holidays –  Closed all City observed Holidays & Saturdays if the Holiday falls on Friday or Monday.
• Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
•  

Fees:

• City of DeWitt Resident: First 2 hours are billed at $20. Each additional hour will be billed at $20/hr.
• Non-City Resident: First 2 hours are billed at $40. Each additional hour will be billed at $40/hr.
• Non-Profit Organization: M-Thu (10 am – 6 pm for 2 hours, no charge) hourly rate applies after 2 hours.
• Security Deposit: $150.00 due at time of reservation ($150.00 refundable)

The full payment shall be paid and received by the City of DeWitt at the time of the sent invoice. If full payment is not received within four (4) days of the invoice being sent, the reservation will be canceled without further notice.

Equipment Available:

18 five-foot round tables, 3 eight-foot rectangle tables, 130 chairs, microphone, audio, and T.V. video. (tables and chairs provided for up to 130 guests – maximum capacity)

The room is also equipped with a full kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, microwave, and coffee pot.

How to Apply:

1. Check availability by visiting the Community Room Calendar.
2. On the calendar page, select the date of your event, then select City of DeWitt Community Room from the event type drop-down menu. If you receive the message “No items found”, that means there is no one currently renting the community room on that date. If there are rentals already scheduled for that date, they will appear. We do allow for multiple rentals during the day, except on Saturdays. On Saturdays we only allow for one rental per day. 
3. Review the Community Room Use Guidelines. 
4. Submit your application by clicking on the Online Application button below. Please allow up to 24 business hours for your application to be processed. 
5. Once your application is processed you will receive an invoice emailed back to you with the total amount due and further instructions on how to submit payment online. The full payment shall be paid and received by the City of DeWitt at the time of the sent invoice.  PLEASE DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT BEFORE RECEIVING YOUR INVOICE.
6. Once payment has been made you will receive an email containing your Facility Rental Contract and security code to enter the community room.
