The DAESA is responsible for delivering fire protection and emergency medical services to the City of DeWitt as well as Olive and Riley Townships.
Cooking/Campfires are permitted for everyone and are allowed in the City of DeWitt, however, the following guidelines must be followed:
Burn permits may be obtained at the DAESA Station 1 (911 W. Main St. DeWitt, MI 48820), Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed holidays), and on select days and times from the Olive Township (www.olivetwp.org) and Riley Township (www.rileytownshipclintoncountymichigan.com) offices.
The permit does not expire but isn’t transferable to a new owner of the property. New owners must re-apply for a permit
